for November 30 2019 to January 7 2020


During Advent, from Saturday the 30th of November 2019 to Sunday the 5th of January 2020, tram service is not available between Ban Josip Jelačić Square and Main Railway Station from 6 pm to 11 pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Tramlines 6 and 13 will run as follows:

Line 6: Črnomerec – Ban Josip Jelačić Square – Jurišićeva – Žrtava Fašizma Square – Kneza Mislava Street – Bus Station – Sopot
Line 13: Kvaternikov Square – Žrtava Fašizma Square – Main Railway Station - Vodnikova – Savska Road – Grada Vukovara Street – Žitnjak

Croatian Railway Passenger Service (HŽ Passenger Service)

Special discounts from Croatian Railway Passenger Service (HŽ Passenger Service) applicable from November 30th 2019 to January 7th 2020 include

  • 50% discount for passengers travelling on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays to Advent in Zagreb from any station or stop in Croatia or Slovenia;
  • From Mondays to Thursdays, from 4 pm to 12 pm, when the last train departs from Zagreb Main Railway Station, all passengers travelling on Zagreb’s suburban line between Dugo Selo and Savski Marof via Zagreb Main Railway Station can travel free of charge.

Return tickets at 50% discount can be purchased from the HŽ Passenger Service ticket office or from the conductor on the train if the ticket office is closed (children younger than six travel free of charge). Free tickets can be collected at HŽ ticket office or from the conductor on the train if the ticket office is closed. When buying or collecting a ticket, please mention the purpose of your travel. Your ticket should be stamped at the Tourist Information Office at Zagreb Main Railway Station, open Mondays-Fridays from 9 am to 9 pm and from 10 am to 5 pm on Saturdays and Sundays (except on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day when the Tourist Information Office is closed) or at the HŽ Passenger Service Information Desk at Zagreb Main Railway Station.

Zagreb Fair East - 60 spots

IMPORTANT NOTE: In order to avoid traffic jams during Advent weeks, we kindly request that you observe the 10-minute rule for boarding/unloading and avoid being fined by traffic authorities. Thank you for your understanding.

Parking payment methods
Mobile application ZgPark: We recommend that users use the mobile application ZgPark (in Croatian and English), which enables you to purchase hourly, daily, weekly and monthly cards, as well as cards for several months; the application also enables you to pay for all-day parking. Payment can be made only by credit and debit cards. You can download the app at: Google PlayI Tunes .

M-parking: Send a text message containing your car registration plate number (for example: ZG0000AA) to the relevant number (for example 700104). You can pay for any registration number. This method of payment can be used only by users of Croatian mobile operators – HT, A1, Tele2).

Apart from parking in zone IV, you can also use limited-time parking (zone I is limited to a maximum of 2 hours, zone II for a maximum of 3 hours, while zone III has no limits on the length of parking), as well as Zagrebparking's public garages.
